ABOUT ME
In college, I studied fine art with a specialization in photography after which I started my own portrait photography business. Year's later; while working as a receptionist, I put my fine art knowledge to good use and did some graphic design work for the company I was working for. Developing a logo, business card and brochure long before the term “branding” came on the scene. A few years later I became a licenced hairstylist working in a busy salon. There I began to take a leadership role in managing their social media accounts. Posting content, running contests, handling DMs and answering inquiries became a job within a job. I found it difficult to keep up with while focusing on my in-house clientele. I know firsthand the problems businesses face and the customers they can lose if they ignore their social media or if they just don’t understand how to use it to promote themselves and their business.
